Betty Rea Young, 58 years of Peebles, died Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio.
She was born June 14, 1947 in Douglas, Arizona, the daughter of the late Paul Irwin and Ramona Carroll Lewis. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-son, Doug Young, a step-daughter, Darcy Young and a brother, Gary Lewis.
She was a member of the Seaman United Presbyterian Church and the United Presbyterian Women?s Association.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Young; two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Gayle Kell of Seaman and Robbie and Noelle Kell of Cherry Fork; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Kirk Bunn of Winchester; three step-daughters, Doreen Leihn of Williamsburg, Donna Smith of Mt. Orab, Deanna Cooper of Decatur; a brother, Wayne Lewis of Mulvane, Kansas; 19 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman. The Rev. Jim Crank will officiate with burial to follow in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
