Bill Crothers, 56 years of Peebles, died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.

He was born in Peebles, Ohio on June 17, 1950 the son of Henry and Martha Savage Crothers of Peebles.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a Switch Technician for GTE and Verizon. He was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church, a sales associate for Wilson Realtors, Peebles American Legion Thompson-Wallingford Post #594, and the NRA.

Beside his parents he is survived by his wife, Carma Lloyd Crothers, who he married on July 30, 1971, son and daughter-in-law, Nathaniel and Rusty Crothers of Peebles, daughter and son-in-law, Erika and Otie Ralston of Peebles, brother and sister-in-law, Steve and LaDonna Crothers of Benton, Kansas, and grandchildren, Levi, Callie, Savannah, Samuel, and Sydney.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Evergreen Baptist Church with Pastor James Ritchie and Richard Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
