Bill Ogden, 84 years of Peebles, died Friday, March 9, 2007 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
He was born in Blue Creek, Ohio on March 20, 1922 the son of the late Oakley and Iva Bailey Ogden.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ and the NRA.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Lucretia Lucas Ogden of Peebles, son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Diane Ogden of Peebles, daughters and sons-in-law, Kris and Randy Phipps of Peebles, Sandy and Glen Fulton of Peebles, brother, Joe Ogden of Glouster, Ohio, five grandchildren, Nicole, Elizabeth, Luke, Ryan, and Sara, and six great grandchildren, Xavier, Oakley, Hart, Remington, Coen, and Season.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Jim Chandler officiating.
Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
