Bill Thorp, 73 years of Peebles, died Saturday, January 13, 2007 at his residence.
He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 6, 1933 the son of the late Earl and Demma Davis Thorp.
He was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ and worked as a Electric Technician for General Electric Aircraft and was a Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife Yolande La Forest Thorp whom he married on February 9, 1963, one son Earl Thorp of Peebles, two grandchildren, Whitnee and Codie both of Peebles, and one sister, Evelyn Mills of Dayton.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home with Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
