Billy Gene Dalton, 88 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday March 12, 2023.
He was born in Lansaw, KY on July 21, 1934, the son of the late Courtney and Anna (Taulbee) Dalton. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by his wife, Minnie Dalton on June 13, 2009, sister, Evenda Spencer and brother, Kendall Dalton.
Billy served in the United States Army and many known him as "Mayor of the Lake"
Billy is survived by his son, Jeffery Dalton of Washington Court House, daughters, Debbie Dalton of Batavia and Sandra (Mike) Lieurance of Huber Heights, six grandchildren, Ashley (Cody) Addison, Amber Lieurance, Courtney Haas, Lindsey Dalton, Curtis Dalton and Billy Dalton, five great grandchildren, Olivia Addison, Liam Addison, Bentley Addison, Hayden Haas and Penelope Haas, brother, Ernest Dalton, sister-in-law, Nedral Dalton and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday March 20, 2023 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Rhoads Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Monday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
