Billy R. White, 88 years of the Jacktown Community, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 at SOMC Hospice Center.
He was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on January 6, 1925 the son of the late John and Nancy Tewart White.
Billy attended Jacksonville Community Church. He was also a U.S. Marine Veteran of World War II, a member of the Peebles Masonic Lodge #581, Peebles American Legion Post #594, the D.A.V. and V.F.W.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Jones White of Jacktown, three sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Kathy, John and Dorothy, and Tommy and Rose White all of Jacktown, one daughter, Bev White of Jacktown, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Richard Lloyd officiating, military rites will be given by the Adams County Honor Guard. Burial will follow in Jacktown Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
