Bob Ward, 79 years of Seaman, died Friday, April 7, 2006 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Home.
He was born in Scioto County on March 16, 1927 the son of the late Barry and Minnie King Ward.
He was a member of the Union Hill Church and Winchester Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Alice King Ward whom he married on October 1, 1951, two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Brenda Ward of Seaman, Larry and Pearl Ward of Chicago, daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Fred Davis of Cincinnati, four brothers, Earnel Ward, Babe Ward, Harley Ward, Jimmy Ward, four sisters Nora Eagle, Marie Thompson, Betty Wilson, Kay Sanno, ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Rev. Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery with Military graveside services by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. till service time at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
