Bob Young, 89 years of Peebles, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in West Union, Ohio on August 13, 1921 the son of the late Ernest Frank and Rebecca McCarty Young.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife; Caryl Meranda Young, who passed away on May 2, 1964.
Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife Frances Louderback Young of Peebles, two sons and daughter-in-law; Randy and Sherry Young of Winchester and Rick Young of Peebles, one daughter and son-in-law; Kathy and Roy Pollitt of Cincinnati, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one step great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Military Rites will be given by the Adams County Honor Guard. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
