Bobby L. Aldridge, 74 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at his residence.
He was born January 25, 1936 in Lawrence County, Ohio, the son of the late Calvin M. Aldridge and Gladys Stumbo Stewart of Portsmouth, Ohio. Beside his father, Bobby was preceded in death by a step daughter, Susan Mongold, three brothers, Donald, John and Earl Aldridge.
Bobby was a retired Crane Operator and was an Army Veteran.
On December 17, 1983 he was united in marriage to Dolly Collins Aldridge who survives. He is also survived by his mother Gladys Stewart, two sons, James Calvin Aldridge of Washington C.H., OH., Dallas Lee Aldridge of Columbus, OH., one step daughter, Brenda Doug White of Hillsboro, OH., three grandchildren, Christina Kisling of Lynchburg, OH., Tonya Brian Hall of Hillsboro, OH., Ryan White of Hillsboro, OH., three great grandchildren, Kevin Mongold, Kyle Hall and Ashley Hall, two brothers, Michael Theada Aldridge of Portsmouth, OH., Keith Stewart of Portsmouth, OH., two sisters, Ginger Gary Gaines of Portsmouth, OH., Linda Mart of Portsmouth, OH., many nieces and nephew.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, OH. with Rev. Randell Goble officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
