Bonnie G. Smith, 83 years of Mt. Orab, passed away on Friday February 19, 2016 at the Crestwood Care Center.
She was born in North Fork, WV on January 11, 1933, the daughter of the late Sam and Gertrude Griffin. Besides her parents she was also preceded by one daughter, two sisters and one brother.
Bonnie was a member of the Hillsboro Church of God and retired from Honeywell. Bonnie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, cooking, fishing, hunting and was a wonderful wife.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Charles B. "Chuck" Smith whom were united in marriage on September 29, 1959, five brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Harry Smith of Portsmouth, OH, Paul Smith of Wilmington, OH, Dwayne Smith of Rarden, OH, Gary (Karin) Smith of Utah and Shirley Syroney of Portsmouth, OH and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday February 23, 2016 at the Hillsboro Church of God, 5760 US Hwy 62 S, Hillsboro, OH 45133. Burial will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery in Peebles, OH.
Friends may call at 12:00 P.M. until time of services on Tuesday at the Hillsboro Church of God.
Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
