Brenda Austin Bowling, 56 years of West Union, died Friday, March 18, 2005 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was born in Huntington, West Virginia on June 9, 1948 the daughter of the late Clifford and Anna Belle McGown Pratt.
She was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union, the Christian Writers Guild, the Evangelical Christian Ladies, and the Adams County Retired Teachers.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Bowling, who passed away in February of 2001.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Steve Baldwin of Peebles, Amy and Josh Young of West Union, Bethany Austin of West Union, Angie and Bob Brewster of Latham, Jackie and Steve Brown of Otway, sister, Sharon Burchett of Minford, Ohio, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of arrangements.
