Brenda Sue Jones, 67 years of Martinsville, died Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Laurels of Blanchester.
She was born at Wolfe County, KY on December 24, 1944 the daughter of Alton and Lola Banks Hammond. Beside her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter Susan Lynn Jones, three brothers, Lonnie, Jim & Gary Hammond, four sisters, Jo Hammond, Christa Jenkins, Ruby Gay Wallace & Patricia Banner.
She is survived by five sons & daughters/law, Steve & Barbara Jones of Waynesville, Greg Jones of Blanchester, Brad & Kay Jones of Tennessee, Chris & Tammy Jones of Clarksville, Matthew & Tina Jones of Wilmington; one daughter and son/law, Angela & James Estell of Morrow; two brothers & sisters/law, Donald & Naomi Hammon & Mike & Delpha Hammond; six sisters & brothers/law, Jane Stamper, Marie Ernst, Pricilla Barnet, Brab & Charlie Gumz, Mary & Kenny Montgomery & Terri & Dave Pack; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Greg Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 AM till time of service at 1:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home.
