Bruce Wayne Burden, 58 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, February 23, 2006 at his residence.
He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on October 8, 1947 the son of the late Charles and Ione Johnson James.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Peterson and Chuck James.
He was united in marriage on October 9, 2001 to Kathleen Smith Burden, who survives. He is also survived by three step sons, Christopher Dawn Woodall of Seaman, James Amy Woodall of Buford, Jerry Olderham of Hillsboro, three step daughters, Angela Charles, Jr. Anderson of Hillsboro, Betty Mike Page of Hillsboro, Tina Kevin Newkirk of New Vienna, sister, Celesta "Susie" James of Hillsboro, eighteen grandchildren, uncle, Archie Barbara Johnson of Hillsboro, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Braxton and Patricia Smith of Cincinnati, and two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Peterson of Hillsboro, and Debra James.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Raymond Page officiating.
Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 415 1/2 Home Street, Georgetown, OH 45121.
