Bruce L. Sumpter, 44 years of Portsmouth, OH., passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
Bruce was born June 22, 1974 in Georgetown OH., the son of the late Leroy Sumpter and Cynthia (Mason) Jacobson of Hillsboro.
Beside his mother, Bruce is survived by his fiancé, Kayla Artressia; son, Blake Sumpter, one step daughter, Adrianna Montgomery, one step son, Philip McCormick; two brothers, Dewey Sumpter of Peebles, OH. And Issac Sumpter of Hillsboro, OH.; four sisters, Donniea Sumpter of Portsmouth, OH. And Genia Sumpter of Peebles, OH., Angela Walston Monticello, KY., Kimberly Burnett of Monticello, KY.,; nieces Sara Nesbitt, Kaylie Young, Erica Artressia, several other nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services are pending at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring.
