Bruce Troutman, 64 years of Peebles, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at his residence.
He was born in Waynesville, North Carolina on August 4, 1947 the son of the late Harold Troutman.
Bruce attended the Grace Fellowship Church; he was the Chief of Police in Manchester, a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, and a member of the N.R.A.
He is survived by his mother, Liz Bradley Troutman of West Union, his wife, Christine Lovett Troutman of Peebles, whom he married on October 31, 1987, three sons and daughters-in-law; Brian and Christine Murphy of Milford, Jeffrey and Shellie Murphy of Incirlik, Turkey, and Shane Troutman of Frederick, Maryland, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 8:00 P.M. at the Grace Fellowship Church with Rodney Glazebrook officiating.
Gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Grace Fellowship Church.
Memorials may be made to the family C/O Christine Troutman, 1365 Inlow Avenue Peebles, Ohio 45660.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
