Burl L. Colliver

March 23, 1916 — December 26, 2002

Burl L. Colliver, 86 years of Lynchburg, Ohio, died Thursday, December 26, 2002 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.

He was born in Bath County, Kentucky on March 23, 1916 the son of the late John B. and Mary Anderson Colliver.

He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ, the Lynchburg Masonic Lodge #178, and the Scottish Rite Member Valley of Cincinnati.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Hilda Pulse Colliver in 1975, his second wife, Wilma Roush Colliver in 1996, and one brother, Jewell Colliver.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Darlene Colliver of Lynchburg, one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Paul F. Pulse, III of Swansea, Illinois, one step son, Richard Juanita Roush of Jamestown, Ohio, two step daughters, Connie Forrest Smith of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, Joni Tom Pulse of Hillsboro, two sisters, Beulah Jones of Owingsville, Kentucky, Elizabeth Rice of Owingsville, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Lee Colliver, Zachary Pulse, Jonathan Pulse, Hannah Pulse, and seven step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with John Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery.

Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Hillsboro Church of Christ Building Fund, 155 W. Walnut Street, Hillsboro, OH 45133.
