Calvert M. Walker, 66 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, August 7, 2006 at his residence.
He was born in Highland County, Ohio on July 31, 1940 the son of the late Denmon and Bertha Snoddy Walker.
He owned and operated Fertilize Business in Danville for thirty-nine years.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Alton Walker, and one sister, Jeanetta Walker.
He was united in marriage on July 31, 1970 to JoAnn Stahl Walker, who survives. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Helen Walker of Danville, daughter and son-in-law, Missy and Steve Watters of Danville, brother and sister-in-law, Grandon and Glenna Walker of Hillsboro, sister and brother-in-law, Henrietta and Hugh Walker of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, and five granddaughters, Kayla, Leah, and Kierzdyn Walker, and Shelby and Dakota Watters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with John Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
