Carl Francis Dillon, Sr., 66 years of Hillsboro, OH., passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015.
He was born June 23, 1948 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Luther Roscoe and Frances Marie (Pauley) Dillon, Sr. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, David Lee, John Robert and Luther Roscoe Dillon, Jr.; two sisters, Marilyn Huddleston and Ruby Carolyn Miller.
Carl worked several years at Randall's in Wilmington and retired from General Motors in Norwood.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Betty Rose (Lucas) Dillon; five sons, Carl F. (Rhonda) Dillon, Jr. of Greenfield, OH., Philip L. (Tonya) Dillon of Martinsville, OH., Jeffrey A. (Rebecca) Dillon of Delbarton, W.VA., Chip Dillon (James Wilson) of Wilmington, OH., Chuck (Tonya) Dillon of Hillsboro., OH.; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; five sisters, Ruth Louise Cox of Hillsboro, OH., Kathleen Hilterbrand of Hillsboro, OH., Wanda Pauline Rhoads of Hillsboro, OH., Elizabeth Jane Champagne of Arizona; Delores (Ron) Varley of Martinsville, OH.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
