Carl J. Hignite, 89 years of Peebles, died Friday, October 11, 2002 at his residence.
He was born in Addyston, Ohio on March 9, 1913 the son of the late Garfield and Armina Hignite.
He was a mill wright for General Motors.
He is survived by his wife, Etta Rickett Hignite, who he married on July 31, 1942, son, Rick Hignite of Peebles, brother, Clyde Hignite of Indiana, sisters, Mabel Gibbs of Cincinnati, Lillie Tankersley of Kentucky, one grandchild, two great grandchildren, and three step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2002 at 3:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Steven Zinser officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 till 3:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 415 ½ Home Street, Georgetown, OH 45121.
