Carl Hounshell, 83 years of Seaman, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at the V.A. Hospital in Chillicothe.
He was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on March 15, 1921 the son of the late Clay and Mary L. Young Hounshell.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Unaus Bryant Hounshell, who he married on June 18, 1947, sons and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Lois Hounshell of Missouri, James I. Hounshell of Seaman, Timothy W. Hounshell of Seaman, daughter and son-in-law, Cinda Sue and Mike Null of Oak Hill, Ohio, four grandchildren, and two great granddaughters.
Private funeral services will be held at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester at the convenience of the family with Steve Darby officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home.
