Carl Nelson Miller, 84 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Tuesday September 30, 2014 at the Edgewood Manor in Greenfield.
He was born in Plain City, OH on November 18, 1929, the son of the late Peter and Mary Ann Miller. Besides his parents he was also preceded by one son Randy Miller, four sisters and one brother.
Carl retired from the United States Air Force and was a member of the SGT Association U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his two daughters Carla (Randy) Penn of Hillsboro and Rhonda (Richard) Scott of Berthoud, CO, two brothers Jon (Carol) Miller of Columbus and Sonny (Vera) Miller of Plain City, two sisters Kathy Owens of Orlando, FL and Esther (Homer) Massey of Xenia; five grandchildren Alicyn (Andre) Kaiser, Billie Brown, Amanda Napier, Cary (Gina) Smith and Rebekah (John) Schrimper, nine great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Carolyn Miller of Bradenton, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2:30 P.M. Saturday October 4, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at Hillsboro Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call at 1:30 P.M. until time of service on Saturday October 4, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
