Carl Musser

Carl Musser, 85 years of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Seaman, died Monday, August 28, 2006 at the Bon Secours-Maria Manor Nursing Home in St. Petersburg, Florida.

He was born in Adams County, Ohio on May 23, 1921 the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Coryell Musser.

He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II. He was the former mayor of Seaman, owned Carl?s Furniture in Seaman, and was a member of the Seaman American Legion Charles H. Eyre Post #633.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Robert, and Walter Musser, and three sisters, Stella Steele, Dora Alexander, and Hettie Geeslin.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Musser of St. Petersburg, Florida, daughters and son-in-law, Vanneta Brewer of St. Petersburg, Florida, Carol and Ronnie Pennington of Trenton, Ohio, step son, John Loi Satterfield of St. Petersburg, Florida, seven grandchildren, Patricia Osman, Pamela Williams, Tracy Griffith, Kelly Shelton, Shawna Shannon, Kimberly Bonapfel, and Michael Satino, twelve great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Dale Rothwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
