Carl E Short

Carl E. Short, 58 years of Sinking Spring, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021.

Carl was born November 21, 1962 in West Union, OH., the son the late Ray and Shirley (Copas) Short. Beside his parents, Carl was preceded in death by a nephew, Teddy Short.

Carl is survived by seven sisters, Alice Graham of Sinking Spring, Janet Gillispie of Waverly, Carolyn Short of Sinking Spring, Mary (Derrick) Knauff of Sinking Spring, Lynda (Timothy) Shoemaker of Peebles, Rhonda (Jim) White of Chillicothe, Sarah (Jeff) McIntosh of Dayton; two brothers, Ronald Stratton of Sardinia, Raymond Short of Latham; two nieces, Crystal Short and Desirae McJunkin; four nephews, Byron Short, Dylan McJunkin, R.T. Stratton, James Stratton; one great nephew, Amerie Wilt, one great nephew, Xavier Wilt; several cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring. Pastor Greg Seaman will officiate with burial following in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
