Carl Samuel Walton, 77 years of Lynchburg, formerly of Huber Heights, died Thursday, August 30, 2007 at his residence.
He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 13, 1929 the son of the late Rube Y. and Mildred Michael Walton.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a retired self employed CPA in Dayton. He was a member of the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church, Past Member of the Hillsboro Lions Club, Kentucky Colonel, fifty-one year member of the Lynchburg Masonic Lodge #178 serving as Secretary, Past Worthy Patron of the Hillsboro Lodge #441 O.E.S., Hillsboro Chapter #40 R.A.M., Hillsboro Council #16 R.&S.M., Highland Commandery #31 Knights Templar, and Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati.
He was united in marriage on April 8, 2000 to Helen Mahan Walton, who survives. He is also survived by two step sons, Chris Lisa Mahan of Warsaw, Indiana, Joe Paulena Mahan of Hillsboro, step daughter, Alicia Brandon Miller of Milford, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home, with Eastern Star, Masonic, and Scottish Rite services at 7:30 P.M.
