Carlos Rhoads

Carlos Rhoads, 86 years of Peebles, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 at his residence.
He was born in Sinking Spring, Ohio on August 10, 1924 the son of the late Irvin and Mary Hazel Wallace Rhoads.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ermalene Swayne Rhoads, who passed away on January 22, 2008.
Carlos attended numerous Church's of Christ in Christian Union; he was an honored minister of fifty years, and a pastor of various Church's of Christ in Christian Union.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Bill and Mary Rhoads of Peebles and Marlyn and Sue Davis of Peebles, two daughters and sons-in-law; Linda and Z.D. Lay of Columbus and Peggy and Vondon Applegate of Peebles, thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Locust Grove Wesleyan Tabernacle with Rev. Jack Norman and Pastor Richard Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Locust Grove Wesleyan Tabernacle.
The Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
