Carmella Bush

Mrs. Carmella (Newman) Bush, 86, of Miamisburg formerly of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully in her home of Friday December 23rd, 2016.

Mrs. Bush, daughter of the late Alvin & Sadie Tackett, was born August 30th 1930, in Fresno, California. Mrs. Bush was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Miamisburg, OH. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by husbands Paul "Bud" Newman, Stanley Brewer and Everett Bush, two sons Tom Newman and Tony Newman, and brother Alvin Tackett.

She is survived by son, Paul "Dean" (Diane) Newman; daughter, Sue Newman (Jeff Priest); sisters, Betty Caudill, Barbra Whittaker, Marie Reynolds; brother, Virgil Tackett; grandchildren Jason, Amanda, Brian, Stacey, Jennifer; great grandchildren, Emily, Marshall, Aleah, Alona, Ellisyn, Dalton, Ethan, Riley, Ellie, Maddy; and special friend, Shirley Collins.

Friends and Family may call from 5:00PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday December 28, 2016 at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 522 N. 12th St, Miamisburg, OH 45342.

Services will be held on Thursday December 29, 2016 at 2:30PM at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, where friends may call from 1:30 PM until time of service. A burial will follow at the Hamer Township Cemetery.
