Carol Ann Dyer, 78 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday May 22, 2016 at her residence.
She was born in Highland County on March 15, 1938, the daughter of the late Clarence and Margene (Roush) Kirkhart. Besides her parents, she was also preceded by her brother, Terry Lee Kirkhart.
Carol graduated from Lynchburg High School and worked at the Lynchburg Bank, Hillsboro Bank, retired from Crop Production in Rainsboro and worked for a period of time at Merchants Bank after retirement, she also was a member of PACE and loved gardening, sewing, crafts and line dancing.
Carol is survived by her husband, Jerry Dyer of 59 years, son Randy (Sheila) Dyer of Sinking Spring, daughter, Connie (Mark) Ferguson of Monroe Falls, OH and two grandchildren, Christopher Ferguson and Holly Ferguson.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM on Friday May 27, 2016 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Hamer Township Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday May 26, 2016 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
