Carol Lou Newbry, 79 years of Layman, Ohio, died Friday, April 19, 2002 at her residence.
She was born at Marietta, Ohio on December 31, 1922 the daughter of Edward and Mary Belleville Hall.
Carol has resided in Layman for 22 years and was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church i Vincent, Ohio, member of the Gray toppers Senior Citizens of Barlow, Ohio and a Member of the Farm Bureau, Fairfield Council. She liked to embroider and tead books.
Biside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Newbry who passed away on September 25, 1974 whom she married on February 12, 1942, one son Allen Newbry, two brothers Arthur and Arnold Hall two sisters, Legatha Peckens and Aletha Jeffers.
She is survived by three sons and daughter/in/law
Bob Newbry of Middlebury, IN, Eugene and Frieda Newbry of Hillsboro, Earl Newbry of Naples, Fl, three daughters and son/in/law, Rosa and Wayne Moore of Greenfield, Mary Hubbard of Goshen, IN,
Patricia and Bob Williams of Goshen, IN, 16 grandchilden and 11 Great Grandchildren, two brothers Richard and wife Ruby Hall of Lyman, OH, Lawrence hall of Grand Rapids, MI, one sister, Carol Harris of Noblesville, IN and serveral nieces and nephwes.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesay, April 23, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Dr. Dan Lamb officaitning. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. till service time at 1:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
