Catherine Adams, 86 years of Rarden, died Monday, May 12, 2003 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
She was born in Rarden, Ohio on September 19, 1916 the daughter of the late Roy and Faye Hackworth Riley.
She was a member of the Rarden Ladies Auxiliary.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Adams, who passed away on September 29, 1978, and one sister.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Vondale and Mary Ann Adams of Rarden, Ron and Alethea Adams of Rarden, daughters and son-in-law, Tammy Adams of Rarden, Dixie Kirker of Rarden, Vivian and David Gardner of Peebles, twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, brother, Roy Riley, Jr. of Rarden, and two sisters, Gladys Newman of Rarden, and Norma Blankenship of Piketon.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Debbie Baer and Tommy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Joy Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
