Catherine E. Kirk, 81 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, May 29, 2003 at her residence.
She was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on November 3, 1921 the daughter of the late Gale and Lucille Gertrude Lewis McConnaughey.
She was a member of the Hillsboro Presbyterian Church. She retired from United Department Store where she was Manager of the Men?s Department and she also worked for many years at the Colony Theatre.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Randy Kirk in 1968.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Homer and Betty Webster of Hillsboro, two nephews, Mark Barbara Webster of Hillsboro, Don Sue Webster of Hillsboro, five great nieces and nephews, and special friend, Leota Quickle of Hillsboro.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hillsboro Cemetery. Burial will follow in the Hilsboro Cemetery.
There will be no visitation observed.
Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
