Catherine Malott, 76 years of Peebles, died Monday, May 30, 2005 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia.
She was born in New Holland, Ohio on September 30, 1928 the daughter of the late Farrell and Beatrice Beatty Chaney.
She was a member of the Peebles Nazarene Church. She was a Nurses Aide at the Batavia Nursing Home.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Malott, who passed away on January 19, 1992, two brothers, James Chaney, Faye Chaney, and one sister, Thelma Hayes.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, George Malott of Florida, Paul Malott of Peebles, John and Teresa Malott of Peebles, daughters and son-in-law, Joyce and Jim Horton of Florida, Georgia Jenkins of Tennessee, Linda Malott of Cincinnati, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Jacktown Cemetery with Larry Windle officiating. Burial will follow in the Jacktown Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 9:00 till 10:30 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
