Catherine E. Walsh Wilkin

Catherine E.?Betty? Walsh Wilkin, 84 years of Hillsboro, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
She was born in Freeport, New York on January 9, 1922 the daughter of the late Stephen C. and Jennie White Carpenter.
She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ, Highland County Senior Citizens, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 129, Hillsboro Garden Club, Hillsboro Order of Eastern Star Chapter #441, and the Tea Time Tootsie Red Hat Society.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Howard Walsh, who passed away on June 29, 1983, second husband, Heber L. Wilkin, who passed away on December 15, 2005, son-in-law, Dale McKee, and daughter-in-law, Barbara Walsh.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James W. and Christa Walsh of Coshocton, Ohio, Stephen R. and Cathy Walsh of Coshocton, three daughters and sons-in-law, Janet M. and Mark Childress of Coshocton, Cathy McKee of Hillsboro, Susan and Ron Cooper of Hillsboro, step son, Tom Garnet Wilkin of Hillsboro, step daughter, Jane Larry Wilson of Munith, Michigan, brother and sister-in-law, Stephen C. and Eleanor Carpenter of Florida, sister, Jean M. Konkel of New York, sister-in-law, Martha Allen of Florida, twenty-four grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 15, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with John Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home, with Eastern Star Services to be held at 8:00 P.M. on Thursday.
Memorials may be made to the Highland County Senior Citizens, 185 Muntz Street, Hillsboro, OH 45133 or the Hillsboro Church of Christ, 155 West Walnut Street, Hillsboro, OH 45133.
