Celesta "Katie" Morgan Tate, 86 years of Piketon, OH., passed away Friday, October 5, 2018.
Katie was born in Adams County, OH. On February 15, 1932, the daughter of the late Jesse and Edna (Gorman) Douglas. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William P. Morgan and David W. Tate; two brother, James and Robert Douglas; one sister, Ruth Douglas.
Katie worked at the Highland District Hospital for several years.
Katie is survived by two sons, Tom (Clarine) Morgan of Hillsboro and Tim Morgan of Piketon, OH.; three daughters, Grace Williams of Waverly, OH., Barbara (Dean) Mason of Rarden, OH. And Linda Rodriquez of Indiana; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sister Mary (Dale) Hall of Texas, One brother John Douglas of Arizona, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring.
Donald Richard Gorman will officiate with burial in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
