Charles Brewer, 92 years of Peebles, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Blue Creek, Ohio on April 3, 1921 the son of the late Arthur and Vella Hohn Brewer.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Brewer.
Charles attended Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church at Scrub Bridge and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Alice DeAtley Brewer of Peebles whom he married on January 26, 1946; one son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Brenda Brewer of Peebles; one daughter and son-in-law, Christie and Richard Williams of Peebles; two brothers, Don Brewer of Xenia and Bob Brewer of Peebles; one sister, Judy Copeland of Peebles; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church at Scrub Bridge with Richard Williams and Doug Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd. Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
