Charles D. Cowman

Charles D. Cowman, 86 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.

He was born in Greenfield, Ohio on September 17, 1920 the son of the late Faye M. and Rhea Eubanks Cowman.

He retired in 1981 from McCall?s Printing Company in Dayton. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Dayton.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

He was united in marriage on November 25, 1942 to Mary Chaky Cowman, who survives. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Charles D. and Trudy Cowman, Jr. of Woodbury, Minnesota, daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Mary Cowman and Gene Zwolinski of Mohegan Lake, New York, Diane and Jeffrey Geaslen of Apple Creek, Ohio, and serves as a missionary in Kosovo, Nancy and Douglas Rohr of Harrison, Ohio, Linda and Donald Cramb, Jr. of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Nettie Cowman of Pickerington, Ohio, sisters and brother-in-law, Louise and Jesse Burger of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Normagene Neff of Hendersonville, Ohio, twelve grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin, Daniel and Joel Geaslen, Jennifer, Melissa and Christina Cowman, Ahleah and Maxwell Rohr, Rudd Zwolinski, and Andrew and Mary Cramb, and one great grandson, Aaron Geaslen.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 18, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church with Pastor Doug Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.

Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church.
