Charles F. Dillon, Sr., 85 years of Leesburg, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on May 19, 1921 the son of the late William and Margaret Hall Dillon.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Mae Dillon, who passed away in 1988, second wife, Shirley Dillon, who passed away in 1993, sister, Betty Wilson, one granddaughter, and one great granddaughter.
He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Charles F. and Donna Dillon, Jr. of Quitman, Arkansas, Roger H. and Joy Dillon of West Union, David L. and Alice Dillon of Leesburg, Ted L. and Leann Dillon of Lees Creek, three daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Ronald Rumer of Rockford, Illinois, Therese and Owen Eveland of South Bloomingville, Ohio, Jocelynn and Alan Rapp of Bainbridge, twenty grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the Berry Cemetery in South Bloomingville, Ohio with Dr. Dan Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Berry Cemetery.
There will be no visitation observed.
Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
