Charles Joseph Chuck Hornung, 54 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, May 30, 2002 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 8, 1947 the son of David and Ruth Geiger Hornung.
He was an Army veteran of the Viet-Nam Era. He was a tool maker with Packaging Resources.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Broyles, and one brother, Joey Hornung.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa M. Staggs Hornung of Hillsboro, who he married on February 12, 1972, father, David Hornung of Wheelersburg, son and daughter-in-law, William and Jessica Hornung of Milford, daughter, Lorinda Hornung of Greenfield, six brothers, David Hornung of Rossville, Georgia, Paul Hornung of Columbus, Ohio, Michael Hornung of Columbus, Ohio, Warren Broyles of Rossville, Georgia, Glenn Broyles of Rossville, Georgia, Carl Broyles of New Orleans, Louisianna, five sisters, Linda Smith of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Brenda Jewell of Columbus, Ohio, Nevalee Looney of Berea, Kentucky, Valerie Stewart of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Donna Broyles of Miami, Florida, and his mother-in-law, Judith Staggs of Friendship, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Saint Mary?s Catholic Church in Hillsboro with Father Stanley Leuhrmann officiating.
Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
