Charles E. Hughes, 67 years of West Union, died Sunday, November 19, 2006 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Center in West Union.
He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on August 12, 1939 the son of the late Chester and Lula Webb Hughes.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the West Union United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Tina Hughes of Toledo, Ohio, grandson, Jessie Hughes, uncle, Tom Hughes of Seaman, and aunt, Alberta Shaffer of Cincinnati.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
