His Air Force service took him to several locations around the globe. This love for travel continued during his Retirement years where he and his wife completed the adventure of traveling to all 50 states and touring their capitols.
Charles was known for his deep faith and commitment to his church, as a devoted member of the Fall Creek Friends Church, where he found solace and community. His compassion for others was evident in everything he did; he always put God and family at the forefront of his life.
