Charles Moore, 83 years of Maysville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.
He was born in Brown County, Ohio on May 26, 1927 the son of the late Dana and Nola Maul Moore.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Maurine Moore, who passed away on June 26, 2010.
Charles attended Countryside Church of Christ, was a US Navy Veteran of World War II, and a former grocery store owner in Cherry Fork.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Terry and Beverly Moore of Cincinnati, one daughter and son-in-law; Jo and Rob Hall of Tollesboro, Kentucky, one brother-in-law; Ralph Beighle of Amelia, six grandchildren; Sean Moore of Cincinnati, Charlie Moore of San Diego, California, Carla Moore of Cincinnati, Sara Jo Hall of Orlando, Florida, Jill Moore of Cincinnati, and Nick of Cincinnati, and two great grandchildren; Roger Moore and Emma Moore.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Countryside Church of Christ with Hannum Taylor officiating. Military Rites will be given by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Memorials may be made to Boys and Girls Club of Lewis County, Kentucky, P.O. Box 158 Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 or Countryside Church of Christ. Wallace-Thompson Funeral Homes, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman is in charge of the arrangements.
