Charles Newsome, 67 years of Peebles, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at Hillside Nursing Home.
He was born in Kona, Kentucky on September 29, 1945 the son of the late Elcaney and Mary Hughes Newsome.
He is survived by four sisters; Linda Mullins of Texas, Helen La Pointe of Wisconsin, Jo Hopkins of Cincinnati, and Glenda Frodge of Russellville.
Cremation is to take place with no services scheduled at this time.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
