Charles E. Rankin

Charles E. Rankin, Sr., 57 years of Seaman, died Saturday, September 4, 2010.
He was born May 3, 1953 in Jamestown, Ohio, the son of the late Delbert and Bertha Wolford Rankin. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by one son Eddie Ray Rankin, one brother Howard Rankin and one step brother Jerry Davis.
On May 18, 1976 he was united in marriage to Faye Evans Rankin who survives. He is also survived by one daughter Bertha Rankin of Peebles, two sons Charles E. Rankin, Jr. and Robby Rankin both of Seaman. Three grandchildren Luke Dillon, Shyanna Dillon, Riddick Rankin, one brother David Pistole of Alabama, one sister Marilyn Bowens of Peebles, special nephew Dakota Evans of Peebles.
Chuck loved to fish, play pool and an avid musician.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring.
Burial will follow in the Louisville Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
