Charles B. Smith, 80 years of Mt. Orab, passed away on Thursday February 1, 2018 at the Salyer Adult Group Home in Hillsboro.
Charles was born in Rarden, Ohio on January 8, 1938, the son of the late Jesse and Rosella (Jenkins) Smith. Besides his parents, he was also preceded by his wife, Bonnie Smith on February 19, 2016 and three sisters, Jessie George, Joann Parr and Joyce Newkirk.
Charles was a member of the Hillsboro Church of God.
Charles is survived by his four brothers, Harry Smith of Portsmouth, Paul Smith of Wilmington, Dwayne Smith of Rarden and Gary (Karin) Smith of Utah, sister, Shirley Syroney of New Boston, family friend, Melissa (Brian) Taylor of Seaman and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Friday February 9, 2018 at the Hillsboro Church of God. Burial will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at 12:00 PM until time of service on Friday at the Hillsboro Church of God.
Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
