Charles Thatcher, 64 years of Peebles, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at Ohio Veterans Home.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 31, 1946 the son of the late Foster Thatcher.
Charles was an Army Veteran serving in the Viet Nam Era.
He is survived by his mother Catherine Jacobs Thatcher of Peebles, three brothers; Richard of Winchester, Robert of Peebles, and Jimmie Thatcher of Winchester, and two sisters; Dorothy Strickland of Rarden and Mary Hupman of Springfield, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating, Military Rites will be given by the Adams County Honor Guard. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
