Charles Cline Wilkin

Charles Cline Wilkin, 94 years of Hillsboro, died Friday, July 6, 2001 at the Kettering Medical Center in Dayton.

He was born at Chillicothe, Ohio on March 13, 1907 the son of William Sheridan and Nellie Elizabeth Heibel Wilkin.

He was a member of the Berrysville Christian Union Church, Highland County Senior Citizens, Federal Retired Firefighters Association and had been a Aircraft Fire Fighter at Wright Patterson Air Force Base retiring after 26 years.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, William and James Wilkin and one sister Nellie Finley.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Rose Marie Sheldon Wilkin, four sons and daughters-in-law, John Charles and Janet Wilkin of Cherry Valley, CA, Robert and Jeanie Wilkin of Enon, OH, Thomas and Mary Wilkin of Hillsboro, Gerold and Debbie Wilkin of Hillsboro, three daughters and sons-in-law, Rose Mary and Lee Roy Newman of Bellbrook, OH, N. Charleene and Richard Tarr of Germantown, OH, Jeannette and Nelson Snapp of Hillsboro, OH twenty four grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren, one niece and three nephews.

He was a happy, loving, Christian Husband, Father and Grandfather.

Funeral services will held on Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Marcus Tolle officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.

Friends may call on Monday evening from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Berrysville Christisn Union Church or the Highland County Senior Citizens.
