Charlie Davis, 75 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, March 9, 2006 at his residence.
He was born in Brown County, Ohio on June 14, 1930 the son of the late Walter and Lorraine Marshall Davis.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Workman Davis, who passed away on January 15, 1998.
He is survived by his son, Charlie Davis, Jr. of Hillsboro, daughters and sons-in-law, Tena and James Copeland of Hillsboro, Reletta and Lucas Pollard of Lynchburg, step daughter, Rhonda Cornett of Florida, brother, Gene Davis of Hillsboro, sister, Mary Shaw of Hillsboro, twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
