Charlie Trisdale, 77 years of the Belfast Community, died Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
He was born in Monterey, Tennessee on June 23, 1925 the son of the late William and Alvie Trisdale.
He retired in 1992 from Highland Stone after working for thirty-five years.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, two daughters, five sisters, and four brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Zelda Simmons Trisdale, who he married on February 5, 1943, five sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Trisdale of Hillsboro, Charles and Patricia Trisdale, Jr. of New Vienna, Jeff and Anita Trisdale of Hillsboro, John Trisdale of Hillsboro, Leon Trisdale of Hillsboro, six daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and William Grooms of Hillsboro, Lorene and Ronald Burbage of Hillsboro, Brenda and Vernon Bennett of Greenfield, Molly Roades and Curtis Bowen of Hillsboro, Mary and Dave Geinger of Clute, Texas, DeeDee and Kenneth Watkins of Sardinia, twenty-five grandchildren, and twenty-six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Billy Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow in the Auburn Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
