Chester Herbert Shinkle, Sr., 65 years of Hillsboro, died Friday, October 20, 2006 at his residence.
He was born March 31, 1941 the son of the late Clarence Shinkle and Ocie Murphy.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Rhoads and two brothers, Charles and Ronnie Shinkle.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Chester H. Teddy and Lori Shinkle, Jr. of Hillsboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Carl Elrod of Tennessee; one step son, Scott Bourgo of Texas; one step daughter and husband, Tammy and Mark Lippe of Denver, Colorado; three sisters and brother-in-law, Mabel Gulick of Hillsboro, Lois and Jim Goble of New Vienna, Martha Goble of Hillsboro; 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 7:30 P.M., Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until service time at 7:30 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
