Christine M. Robbins, 87 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, October 11, 2010 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born June 29, 1923 in Hillsboro, OH., the daughter of the late William E. and Dorothy Beard McAdams. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Tom Robbins on August 21, 1968, son-in-law Edward Wilson, two brothers Tommy McAdams and Bill McAdams.
Christine retired from Production Credit and Federal Land Bank, sold life insurance for Modern Woodmen of America, was the owner and operator of Christines in Hillsboro
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Caroline Robbins of Tampa, FL., daughter Dianne Wilson of Lynchburg, OH., three grandchildren Robyn Gilbert Scroggy of Clarksville, OH., Wendy Shawn McClure of Hillsboro, OH., Mike Michelle Nakoff of Wilmington, OH., three great grandchildren Molly Scroggy, Morgan Scroggy, Nicholas McClure, one sister Viola Morrow of Leesburg, OH., several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 15, 2010 at the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Rev. Harold Braley will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
