Christopher J. Johnson, 35 years of Peebles, died Sunday, April 7, 2002 at the U.C. Medical Center in Cincinnati.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on February 3, 1967 the son of James Johnson and Ruth Ann Thomas Cluxton.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Johnson, who passed away on September 25, 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Miller Johnson of Peebles, who he married on May 31, 1986, mother and step father, Ruth Ann and Jim Cluxton of Peebles, paternal grandmother, Dorothy Johnson of Seaman, son, David Johnson of Peebles, daughter, Katie Johnson of Peebles, sisters, Debbie Shupert of Seaman, Helen Williams of Peebles, half brothers, Sam Johnson of Peebles, Israel Johnson of Peebles, step brother, Mike Cluxton of Hillsboro, step sisters, Sue Carrel of Columbus, Melinda Mustard of Columbus, Marilyn Cluxton of Columbus, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Evergreen Baptist Church in Peebles with Bud Ritchie officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
